8-year-old Jasmine Parran placed 26th at the USATF National Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships in Reno, Nevada on December 8, 2018.
 

 

8-year-old Jasmine Parran competed for the Westfield Area Y Flyers Track Club at the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on Saturday, December 8, on a snowy course in Reno, Nevada.  She placed 26th out of hundreds of other girls her age.

The Westfield Area Y Flyers Track Club is a year-round track & field and cross country team offering USATF-certified coaching and specific event technique instruction for athletes ages 7-15.  While the fall cross country season just concluded, the Club offers Winter Conditioning and Speed School classes through the Westfield Area YMCA.
